I get my mold and resin from Smooth-on Corp. http://www.smooth-on.com/

They have a directory of distributors and you should have little problems finding some. The staff where I go are very helpfull and can answer most all your questions. Some even have demos and classes :eyebrows:

Check with

Molding 1/540 Aircraft

Does anyone have experience making molds of aircraft for carriers? I have a couple of Revell 1/540 carriers and I would like to mold the aircraft that came with them since getting more can be either expensive or problematic. At least with the molds I can do an entire airwing if I wanted. I am guessing that it would need to be a 2-part mold so that the wings and such would come out of the mold w/o breaking. My questions would be what do you use for the mold and where do you get the materials from?
