TRIVIA---in DIE HARD, Nakatomi Corp. head executive Joseph Takagi (James Shigeta) joked to John McClain, "Hey, we're flexible. Pearl Harbor didn't work out so we got you with tape decks."
In MIDWAY (Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda), Shigeta played Vice Admiral Chuichi Nagumo, who led the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Also, in DIE HARD, the password for the Nakatomi vault is "AKAGI" which was the Japanese aircraft carrier that was Nagumo's flagship at Pearl Harbor and Midway.
