Thanks Dave for the dbl check. Since these tubes were taken off WW1 DD, I'll defer to an older form of local fire control I found online;

These were an already made mount and progressed within the Wickes/Clemson+ classes with "possibly" built in fire control, MK15, local control.
It would be less complicated to the DE crash building program in 42', 43' for fittings.

Kinda makes roundhouse sense to me when you research it a bit more.

I checked the drawings in Al Ross' Anatomy of the Ship: Destroyer Escort England. Not shown their either. Where I thought that they would be are showing to be 24" searchlights. Where they just point and shoot?

In regarding US Navy Destroyer Escorts, were they equipped with a torpedo director like USN Destroyers? I realize they only had 3 fish.

In looking over Navsource pics, I dont seem to recognize one in the bridgework in any class of ship. Nor can I find anything info in Freidman's book.
