I would think if you've used a sealer, you should be able to use either or both. Suggest you try it on a small piece of the same type of wood and see what happens.

Acrylics and Enamels

I'm working on a Harder conversion of the Revell Lionfish. I've purchased the add-ons from Nautilus Models which includes the wooden deck. The instructions for the deck STRONGLY advise against using acrylics on the wood for warping reasons. I've already sealed the deck with a polyurethane sealer and I'd like to be able to use both (enamel on the deck and upper hull) and acrylics for the lower hull however I've heard horror stories about using both. I'd appreciate any insight someone could provide about this. Thanks!
