Thank you both for the information. Petros, will take a look at your thread. In the meantime I got a copy of German Surface Vessels 2 by H. T. Lenton which covers auxiliary ships overall and has references to a few merchants as well.

I just got a few more yearbook issues of the Werft Reederei Hafen magazine from the 20es-30es-40es from my uni's library, would be listing the ship plans and photos inside soon, and scanning most. These are a great reference on a large amount of merchant ships built in that timespan in germany, with a few foreign ones covered too. You can find my thread with lists for 1927-1929 issues in this forum (shall be a year old or so), and I would bring in the lists of 1930-32-33 and 42 soon.
