hi guys-
-I have been following the progress build of Christoph Suchys 1:200 card model of the ROMA ...
Christoph Suchy will be familiar to MW regulars as one of the premier exponents of card modelling
http://www.modelshipgallery.com/gallery ... index.html
Anyhow .. back to the ROMA
here is a neat way of making the portholes--well-illustrated too!
http://www.kartonmodellbau-elite-club.d ... =0&page=11
In fact it may pay to view the entire thread--most of it has english captions...
http://www.kartonmodellbau-elite-club.d ... r=0&page=1
Eventually upon completion doubtlessly we shall see the finished result herer at MW.com in his gallery page--but to see the step by step progress is very educational!!--a bit like the card equivelant of a Ron H/Bill W/ Vic on-line build!!
Hope you find it as interesting as I did
