Re: Victorious battlegroup

Excellent work to cut the kitted full-hulls to waterline models. White Ensign Models has 1/600 PE for the Airfix series. For the type 965 radars, instead use WEM's "1/700" PE, which in fact measures very close to 1/600.

Victorious battlegroup

Really enjoyed the pictures of Victorious battlegroup,

Great work, loved the scratchbuilt planes

Well done!- would have liked a bluer sea background though to really set it all off

Re: Steel Navy Rumours

HP are doing Victorious and Illustrious in 1941 and 45 fits, plus an angled-decked Victorious.

Illustrious should arrive any time now and I have ordered the angle-decked Victorious. Be warned they are expensive.

Cheers,

Rob

Re: 1/400 French Aircraft Carrier Arromanches (Ex-Colossus)

I will have to face the same problem in the future.
I plan to build a BPF HMS Victorious from the 1/400 Illustrious kit and I need a couple of Boffins. I'll save your technique for reference you don't mind Nicolas.
