This might be fun. ;)

I'm remodeling a spare bedroom into a home office/modeling room
and I'm interested in seeing other modelers workbenches/model areas
so I can get some ideas of how to organize everything.

So if you have a workbench or modeling area that you'd like
to share please post a pic of it here.

There's only one caveat: you cannot clean your modeling
area up before you take the photo.

Lets see where the magic happens!

David

Okay, but remember....you asked for it! :lol_1:

I won't lie, my bench is usually even worse than this, but it has also been MUCH better. I usually clean it well when I begin a new project.

Enjoy! :heh:

Mine's still a work in progress, but it's the best setup I've ever had. I just wish I had more room! That's a Trumpeter 1/350th scale Essex on the bench for size reference.

Sorry Timmy, but 10 projects at once makes for a fairly messy bench.

If you want I could post some pics of the saw horses again. :lol_1: Maybe its time to clear out a spot to continue the Okie.

Gah.

Timmy, What are those "wingy things"I see on those shelves up there?

Well, here's my little piece of heaven. I am banished to the Garage. I don't mind though, except during the unbearable Arizona summers!

Image

Here is how I set my Dremel tool up. It's very convient for me, and always ready to rock:

Image

This is my new Airbrush Set up. Can you see it in this Pic?

Image

Oh, there it is. At home in it's little cradle thing I made.

Image

But where is the air hose and compressor? Must I have to hook it up every time I need to use it? NEVER! This is how I keep it all tucked away nice, and ready to use at any moment:

Hopefully this gave you some ideas. I dont' know, it works for me.

I honestly did not clean for this picture. The shop had been cleaned right before the first snow. I don't go out there much right now, because its too damn cold.

Well, here is my desk
It is dominated by a huge 1/350 yamato, but notice all those tiny projects I do now:
1/700 jap port diorama - with T-1 APD and T-103 LST on desk
1/350 italian port diorama - with CRDA Cant Z.506, Lancia 3RO truck, MAS 526 boat, and a conversion of Esso Glasgow to italian tanker.

Twin 22" monitors let me view the plans without printing them out. A must for an old hacker like me ;o)

Well chaps

Here is my littel kingdom/ rubbbish tip

Plenty of light--plenty of mess-plenty of work in-progress!!

Despite the untidyness, feline visitors etc etc I know where everything is!!! :eyebrows:

The current project-RMS Maureatania in dazzle --always lives under a glass case! keeps dust away!

You will not find any inspiration here for creating the ultimate tidy workshop....!!
