Decided to continue on my 1/350 Prinz Eugen, started her quite some time back, I stopped to get a break and work on a few of my carrier airwings.

The picture shown the Prinz Eugen in the fore ground and the completed USS Indionapolis behind and the two hulls in the rear are going to be kit bashes, one is the 1/350 defective hull of the Bismark that I extended and plan to build a modern day fast support ship, the other hull is that of a small scale Titanic which will be made into the 1/350 USS Langley.

Nice models you have there! Hipper class ships are beautiful!

Yes they are a really nice design.

Here are some more pics of My Prinz Eugen as she nears completion.

I'm doing the final ballast check to make sure she's even keeled before I secure the deck down to the hull, I also added most of the final large pieces to see how she balances, there are still quite a few small detailing pieces to go?

Since I don't fill this acrylic tub to often to balance out my ships I figured I'd pose her with two of my other kits, a German U-Boot and my complete USS Indionapolis, which I see has a 10 degree list to port, have to figure out how I'm going to fix this.

Anyway hope you enjoy the pics.

Very nice models! :thumbs_up_1:
Why do you have to ballast the ships? Are they for RC, or you just want them to float?
I'd love to see some close-ups of the ships, too.

Cheers,
Aop

No no RC, thought about it once but would get way to expensive my count so far is 65 ships. I just like to make them float, I mean what's a ship if it doesn't float?

Well my 1/350 Prinz Eugen is mostly complete and just needs to have the rigging and flags done.
