Gents,
I recently took possession of a painting of Haguro (that I had commissioned) depicting her and Kamikaze entering the northern end of the Malacca Strait just before sunset on 15th May 1945, only hours before Haguro's demise.
The artist is Ross Watton, a renowned British naval artist whose website has many fine paintings / prints, mostly of British warships though. (He is especially popular with retiring skippers of de-commissioned 'modern' warships, who have him paint their old charge, so many of his paintings are of 'modern' DD's.) He has now however made available prints of my Haguro painting.
So I have attached below an example of the print, and one of the descriptive text caption, as that can be a bit hard to read on the web sized image of the print.
Be that as it may, should anyone want to buy a print of Haguro,
or any other fine print on his website, please just contact the artist directly; I have no part in, nor profit from, any print sale.
