Hi, to celebrate Finland's National Day some of my models of Finnish Navy ships.
First one, notorious torpedo boat S2 of Russian origin, left in Finland when the Russians withdrew in 1918, and lost in storm in 1925.

Model is of course scratch build because no kits are available, hull is made by bread'n'butter method, and plated 0,1 mm copper to simulate hull plating. Scale is 1:50.
The next in chronological order is captured Soviet G5 MTB named Viima, Finns had 3 of them during 2.ww. Model is from Merit 1:35 kit, with Finnish modifications. The kit itself was quite rudimentary and simplified, so some refinements was made, fe. the wheelhouse interior.

And after war, Finland started to look after missile armament. In 1974, 4 OSA-2 class missile boats was purchased from Soviet Union, and and they were called the Tuima class. Here is the nameboat of the class.
It is also from Merit 1:72 kit, here the modifications are quite extensive, mostly because of differences between the original ships, but also the clear mistakes particularly in hull shape.
