That is unfortunate. I'm interested in getting decals for the Enterprise hangar and her airwing.
I'm glad you spoke up for yourself.

People should always be careful of whom they accuse and of what.

I'm new to the ship aftermarket arena and so far its been difficult to know who to trust.

So far my experiences haven't been great.

OK, I'm new here and don't have the ability to send PMs. Are CVN-65 hangar deck placards still available somewhere for purchase or donation? Is Rouyax still in the house?

Thanks!

Yep, alive and kicking...

File is still available. Just PM or email your request. To counter SPAMs, you'll find my email following my signature's link.

Patrice,
Exactly what is the process for obtaining the CVN 65 hangar deck decal file? I would gladly make a donation! Please let me know.

I just read the whole thread, and am amazed at your work.
I made some hangar bay decals for my Bataan, but they are thick and there is no way I could use them on aircraft.
I am starting to gather pictures of the air wing on the Ranger for their Rimpac cruise and would like to make my own decals.
What decal sheets are you using to get such great results?
Also I'd like to offer thanks for your offer on my Bataan build, I was about a day ahead of you, and seriously didn't want to start over again.
It's crazy what you've gone through while just trying to do good, I feel for you.

Thanks again.
Mark

Hello there,

Procedure is just written above : send me a PM or an email with your request and an email address ! :bash_2:
I can't give you more details there but I'll give them when I'll answer your email or PM request.

Patrice

Best brand I know and use are Colorado decal paper sheets but are for laser printers : http://www.coloradodecals.com/detalhe.a ... 3&prod=296

Portuguese based company, web orders and worldwide shipping available. Very thin and solid glue layer, never had any disappoinments.

Too bad I was late for your vehicles, however they are looking great. Great build you made there, your son has everything to be as proud of his father as you are !

I think I can use a laser printer at work, I'll check that out before I order any.

A computer crash, a life full of work and changes and no time to proceed with your requests, nore to answer your mails. Sorry about that, but I won't have spare time left for modelling or artworking for at least six to twelve months. Too many changes in my life and work incoming.

:sorry:

I am sorry to hear that and it is certainly understandable. In the meantime, I will enjoy your awesome CVN 65 hangar decals.

rouyax, I've read this entire thread and am impressed with what you do. I am also in dire need of your work!!!!! I need markings for the hanger deck (including the new mural) and for CVW-1. I would like to model my Enterprise as she was during her last cruise. ANYTHING you could do to help would be greatly appreciated.

Due to a medical problem I had to get back in France and for a long time. As I can't work either, I've resumed construction of my CVN-65 kit and stumbled on several adjustments that had to be made on my decal sheet. My Hangar deck construction is 90% complete, just needs decalling and a few planes and it will be complete. I'll post pictures when done with the hangar.

As a bonus for those willing to depict late CVN-65, I've included markings for the bow and the island that where present until the last cruise. I'll include soon the updated mural for 2004-2012 era.

And I'll resume work on CVW-1 as well and include markings for 2012 last cruise.

See below major updates for decal sheet.

Patrice, congratulations on your epic work on the "Big E's" markings. From what I see from the previous posts, you have truly put in an enormous amount of study and effort into getting the graphics correct. The fact that you share that work with the rest of the community is a further admirable thing - in spite of the challenges. This epitomizes the potential of web-based collaboration.

As so many before, I too have a dream of creating a jewel of the Tamiya kit. Your work helps to inspire me to continue researching in support of that goal.

I wish you future success.

Regards,
Robert

Thank you, I really appreciate.

CVW-1 2006 is..... finally done ! 2 A4 pages, lots of white ! No use in printing them if your unable to print white. I'm currently trying to buy a second hand OKI C711 WT laser printer as it is a new affordable printer with.... a white ink toner ! Perfect for decal printing, but not cheap (2500 $ new). Never was disappointed with my previous OKI laser printer and the three year on site warranty and service was more than efficient.
When that'll be the case, I'll be ready to offer printed decal sheets. Maybe via Ebay.

Here are the images :
