Trumpeter's 1S91 SURN KUB radar, known to us Cold War vets as the STRAIGHT FLUSH radar for the SA-6 GAINFUL missile system. Trumpeter released the SA-6 TEL several years ago.

This is the last completed project from my day job. This model is typical of what we do: large scale acrylic structures with computer controlled lighting. Scales vary wildly, depending on the size of the building, but this one was 1/96th. My main contribution to the project was the many pieces of furniture, mostly drawn in Rhinoceros v7 and printed on our Epax and Formlabs 3 printers, with some saw and laser work where appropriate.

That's quite the project!

Can't imagine how many hours of work went into that.

Almost a year since this thread had some new life, so here are a bunch of 3d printed figures I painted for our Dorks (dungeons) & Dragons game! Edit, not sure why half the pics are sideways here, they aren't that way on my computer...

Very nice work.

On the subject of 3D prints, I've just taken delivery of a new 3D kit of a somewhat larger subject. I don't know how well know it is outside of the UK but, in the late 70s we had a British answer to Star Trek in the form of Blakes 7. Our hero's flew a ship called the Liberator and, despite me being a huge Trek fan I still think, to this day, that it is the best sci-fi starship design of all time.

At 3 feet long, the kit is the same size as the original filming miniature.

One of the 3 'nacelles' temporarily fitted:

and in comparison to the 1/200 Iowa that is now back on my work bench:
