Good morning.

I think it´s time to upload some pictures of advances. Currently the rear section of the hangar has been closed. There is a lot of detail and a lot of pictures.

Beautiful interior detail! Very good lighting for the photos.

Were it not for the short depth of field in the photos (and the open hanger roofs in some) I would think these are photos of the real thing!

Have you ever tried photo stacking? You can get very good depth of field using this technique, although it is a bit more work than just taking a single picture. I have made very close-up photos (5 inches to the nearest object) with a depth of field of more than 18 inches (about two feet to the most distant object, and everything in focus).

With photo stacking it would be very difficult to distinguish your photos of the model from pictures of the real thing.

Excellent work!

Phil

Indeed quite impressive! I use photo stacking with Photoshop but there are other (maybe free) applications that can accomplish this. For models, because of the small size and short depth of field of a single image, quite a few images may need to be combined. It goes without saying that a tripod is an essential mounting.

Cheers: Tom

Excellent job, I was truly wondering whether some pictures were the real ship or the model. So much attention to detail :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Thank you very much my friends.

I am now working on helicopter rotors. Very intricated and complicated at 1/200 scale. New photos soon.

Good morning dear mates.

As I promised I have finished the SH60 rotors. Very complicated at this scale.

The next step is attach the rotors to the helicopters and send them to the hangar deck.

This! Is! Incredible work!

You like a challenge ! Honest to god , I had to look at some of your hangar and stern shots to see if it was your model or a pic of the real thing !!!
And building your own planes ? Extremely impressive work!
Must be amazing to look at the actual model in person!!

Congratulation , I will keep checking ! I can't believe I haven't noticed this build earlier!

Happy modelling : Laci

Thank you very much Laci for your kind comments.

I have already closed the hangar bay. It´s time to move to other sections of the ship. Time to close the project with the flight deck is closer.

Here are some shots of the hangar nº1, the last one to be finished.
