This will be a detailed depiction of Deutschland as she was fitted during her neutrality patrol during the Spanish civil war in 1937, an undertaking which will be completed in 1/700.

Primarily the ship will will be constructed from paper/card though the hull will be made of wood (the type hasn't been decided yet!)

The ship will be supplemented by the WEM PE set and aftermarket brass barrels

First of has been the ship's seaplane, the Heinkel He 60, made solely from paper!

The second order of business has been the building of the ship's two 28cm/11inch turrets, which are constructed from card, paper and detailed with the necessary PE ladders, rang finders and brass barrels.

These are but the first few steps of a long construction process, each step takes care and time and finding time isn't always the easiest!

Thanks for now!

What's wrong with the Fujimi 1/700 Deutchsland kit that you would prefer to scratch-build instead?
