Ryan,

It is a beautiful model. But a minesweeper? Looks like the sweep gear was replaced with depth charges. Must have seen escort duty. I guess convoy escorts were needed more than minesweepers.

Thanks Phil....Esquimalt was classified as a minesweeper even with the gear stripped. Her duties were escort duty and patrols around Halifax harbour
