Not wanting to intrude.... :big_grin:

But you can hang the boats from davits two ways:

1) on some vessels the boats was suspended from the davits and then lashed against the griping spar by diagonal cross-over straps- in the model- glue the boat to the spar and simulate the davit falls with sprue or PE

2) or... insert fine wire-..tungsten or similar into the boat. make a small hook shape at the upper end.

glue and it hangs...

or make a jig to support boat, and use butt glue joint as below in my Wien

Mr. JB and Moomoon . . both of your are master modelers, and your works are the source of inspiration and enthusiasm to me and my first attempt at this work. .

Thank you tausugair... but I'm still an old little baby padawan compared to JB :big_grin:
