Hi Song always a delight to see your work . Question how many hours do you spend on your model? I seem to spend hours and achieve remarkably little in the way of results.

Thank you Dave!
I spend 3-4hours on my model a day, but the result is .....
It' my watercolor painting, 'Notre Dame de Reime'.

Ah you are a man of many talents . My ability to paint is zero . But I admire those that can .

Hi Song as always a wonderful build. Question how you glaze the windows? Over the years I have developed with inspiration from modelling friends an adhesive less method of glazing which allows the interior and exterior to be fitted out, painted then glazed without applying any glue. Just a thought.

Without glue? My method is very simple. I glazed the window by cyanoacylate.
Next is my painting.

Hi Song as ever I am enthralled by your art work. The more I examine your work the more impressed I become. Once every two months I attend along with other models from around the UK, what could be termed 8 hours of hot house modelling ? Over the day each modeller attending discusses and demonstrate the techniques used to build their model. As well as model makers, model engineers, IT specialists we also have several artists. The fusion of art and model making produces some amazing results. Our IT specialist concentrated on the new development of 3D printing and CAD. I was amazed what can be developed, even the most complex shapes can be created but first it requires the impute of the design, for me it is still model making and our artist shows how light and atmosphere affect the painting. Model making although a craft can become art just as much as a carpenter can create a wonderful piece furniture which in later years becomes as much a piece of art as a painting.
