Hello and welcome to the board. I am looking forward to your build as I too am planning a FFH but it is far down the list. If you search, you can find my unfinished 1/72 HMCS Assiniboine DDE 234 which is still ongoing very slowly(and an undocumented HMCS Ottawa DDE 229). I have a 280 class hull that I am going to do pre TRUMP(HMCS Huron) after Assiniboine, then maybe I can start my as yet un-named CPF. What hull and fittings are you using? |

It must be pretty cool to build the ship you're serving on, mate. Wish I had the facilities (and talent) to make 1/72 (or larger) model ships... |

All the Halifax class frigates had the stern flap added during their FELEX overhauls, so no, Winnipeg did not have the flap when she was first launched. |

Very Nice Picture Stevie, I'm planning on building as build, no upgrades. Unfortunaly real life seems to have gotten a hold on me. My year has been busier than expect. Hopefully i can get back to work on the ship now that i have moved to my new place. Will post some pictures once i get the stern sealed where the shafts exit. Let this project sit to long, really which i could of had it atleast in the water by this point. |

Good day Lyall, I am in the process of planning to build a CPF, and I would like to know if the mast that you show in the pics below was a scratch build? If not where did you find it? Thank you for your help |

Great job. Just wondering if you have finished the job (added fire control directors). Also, note that RCN ships now use the canadian flag as a Naval Jack. The Jack staff (bow), where the Naval Jack is only flown while alongside, moored or at anchor. The RCN flies the naval ensign off the stern or at the masthead when at sea |
