Blaubiene, Bist Du deutscher?
Wow what a nice build 1:100 scale, not only the docking keels, also all intakes, very impressive
May I ask have you got a drawing for the intakes?
I notice also the extra plate on the stern could you set in some more pictures from your hull, some from the sides, front and aft please. Especially the intakes, much appreciated.

Hi Blaubiene,

I see you even got the hull cut through, is the build RC too. Cutting through would be so much easier because one can pre drill and file all nice and square. After seeing your picture I really like to go even more detailed. :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Ja, ich bin deutscher und lebe in Köln. Gerne stelle ich weitere Bilder ein, wenn gewünscht. Der Maßstab ist 1:200 Trumpeter Bismarck.

Hi,
Currently I am working on the plan for the water in takes and outflows.
I haven't finished them but here a short preview. I still need to update a few things.

Send me am PM and then I can send you the full drawing after I finishing the details.

Questions;
I would be interested in the Steel plate drawings, if someone can help me out, that would be most appreciated.
Further I have found a place that may do photo etching, if anybody has an idea what would be missing on the 1:200 scale Trumpeter, send me a drawing, then I redraw them in AutoCad and let you know if the guy can do it.

Looking forward to your reply

Thank to Blaubiene, the drawing of intakes and outlets are finished, I had drawn it the wrong way mirror faced, easy to correct in AutoCad. Now the project can commence.

Hi Everybody,

first of all, I wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year 2015 and plenty of time to build.

I have now finished all drawings regarding the HULL Intakes and grills, therefore I have started drawing a template to make my own photo etch parts. These are available for everyone if I can get them made cheap enough.

Now here too i got some questions. Please send me your Idea (ONLY HULL RELATED FOR NOW)

I plan to make Eagle, Water Marks, swat sticker, holder for the torpedo nets, propeller mounting eyes and many more.

Anybody interested, send me your ideas and parts that you can think of to be added.
Please consider that this takes a lot of time on AutoCad as drawn on the picture. Therefore wenn you send me details ad Scale measurements 1:200, the same I like to add for the Arado, propeller, canopy grating, small swat sticker for the tail rudder and what else comes handy.

Looking forward to your reply.

all the best Andreas

The Torpedo Net Holder are machined, for the mounting I will add this on my photo etch sheet since they are not on the market.

Small watchmaking lathe work. For the holder, I will make a folded part with stiffeners, will post this at a latter stage when done. The one in the picture will then be replaced.

Continue the intakes, just received a lot of great Bismarck information, from Russia and Germany. Like to say a thank you to everyone that supports this and any related project. Most of the messages came by email or PN. Again thank you, taking part here or even beside this forum.

Picture 69 is showing paint flaked off, I had this a few times it is not avoidable to our frustration. Btw I post details so the ones that like to know, can follow as well.

I placed the hull onto the scale drawing, then followed step by step the measuring and transferred the rough center points onto the hull. I am still working on exact sizes of the grills, this information is in progress. As soon I get it, I will add it to my P-etch parts drawing for all intakes.

All intakes, not the main side intakes that been printed into the hull are roughly over 100

I have only a rough measurement at present. Some data I took of the White Ensight etch parts, but neither the drawing to place them or the sizes seam to be all up to date.

Even you measure, I marked the hull to the drawing and followed the drawing lines, therefore you see pictures of stern and aft marked. I also removed some of the White Ensight grills that where placed earlier. these are now placed according to the drawing.
Worse mention, I did made some mistakes as well, by extending the prop shafts, here I left two grills to come closes to the original view. Nobody is perfect!!!

It is in the end my Model and it is not going to any show, I guess it will be ok.

I marked the hull also from the side to make sure I always in the right position. Its easy to lose position and then have to redraw them, it took the whole day, to transfer all data and draw it onto the hull.
