having trouble sizing photos,
Well the big gamble- build the superstructure whule waiting for hull.................has worked

Its all lining up pretty nicely
Very tricky, but I am winning.
have spent 300 dollars on timber, bog, and stuff
No holiday, so i can justify it me thinks................

Well we continue
Three tasks:
Get the deck, built seperately to the hull, to fit
Get it to fit so that it can be removed
Get the joins as seemless as possible

Build the barbettes, get the decks down
And allow for a bloody 3 mm twist the deck/superstructure developed over the years

Im pretty happy with the results so far.

the last few months- getting the electrics right, and now all turrets turn a full 180 degrees, lights work, and the catupult turns too

I can actually see the light at end of tunnel
Only a few details left- a few more vents, rigging, fire plugs, painting, de guassing cable, portholes, guardrails, bilge keel, ballast fittings...........
not much really..................LOL
anyway, it continues

Nice paint job and detailing.
Note that even main shape is complete these remaining details can be great time consumer.

So the bilge keels basicaly done. Portholes nearly done
The deguassing cables are underway

Next 3 photos show the painful progress, but getting there

COVID means no paint, and painful mail order for plastic
But getting there

First photo, cut and painfully bend hundreds of the cable clamps
