I just resize my photos with windows office pic manager so they are an exceptable size(under 200kb per pic I think) for this site then attach them directly....

Looking good mate!

Cheers Bruce

Like Bruce I resize my photos to be less than 1200x1200 pixels and under 150 Kbytes to meet the requirements of the Forum. I use Photoshop but you can also use Microsoft Paint that comes with Windows. It is easy.

There are advantages to this method:

1. The pictures are stored on the forum. When Photobucket or whatever other picture storage site goes belly up the images won't disappear from your Forum posts. You need only look through some of the older threads to see they are full of blank photos to understand the virtue of posting on the forum. Those threads are almost useless without the pictures.

2. The pictures aren't huge and don't take a long time to load. Off-site photo storage places are notoriously slow - if they work at all.

3. You don't have some marketing scum shoving ads in your face or recording information to be used to put advertising crap on your machine. Those places really aren't free. They are sucking blood in some way.

Phil

Nice!

You could post photos directly to the site if they're sized correctly.
