I have done nearly nothing to the hull so far, but have been very busy with 3D designs til now. I just want to post a few camouflage schemes that I made and might consider applying on my model. The first one's pattern is very similar, while the colours are identical, to HMS Warspite 1942 camouflage. I got the pattern from an image after some googling. Source is a video game called Naval Frontline:
Here is the next one. The colours are identical to the Rodney's, with some colours excluded, as you can see. This is again from a video game, named Atlantic Fleet. I don't play both games and any other games as it is quite wasting time, but they sometimes give you some ideas, especially the wonderful World of Warships! I created a painting of the Amagi 1944 battlecruiser entirely from screenshots of some players on the net! I just hope WoWs will add a Lion class soon so I can see other details that they may create and then add them to my build...
And here's the last one. Just the standard scheme applied to most ships:
The colours seem quite weird and inaccurate, but I did use the colour picker to (try) create identical colours to the RN chips colour charts. Though with slight modification to make them more contrasting, especially the 507B and 507C.
I like all three of them. Maybe other schemes are very nice as well, like the Renown's and Resolution's, the KGV's 1944, etc. Maybe some of you can help/suggest some camouflages I could apply to my model? My brother told me we should keep her as clean as possible, to retain her beautiful outlines, and also to not disappear into the KGVs, most of which I would apply camos unique to each ships on my (future) models. But anyway we'll see.
