Hello Chris,
that does look good, a great idea, and being so low it would help so much with stability.
.
No I wasnt aware of what had happened to Tony, poor chap, I will send a message,
Cheers Will

Hello all, still doing my little Waterhen, have been doing all the deck detailing. You probably can’t see from these photos but I have all but finished my deck painting. I think it is fairly accurate. I’m happy with it anyway. All the best to everyone, cheers Will

Thankyou very much, it is close to 9 feet long. Its alot of fun building a large model, going in for detail, so it should keep me occupied for years.
Cheers,
Will

Hello again,
I have had a crack at the wooden ammo boxes covered with tarps - there were sixteen in total and I have done the eight on the forward part of the ship. I think they turned out OK - I just used the toilet paper and watered down PVA glue technique with paint. I put a coat of the Tamiya Clear coat over my semi gloss deck paint to dull it down and yes it did that but also left marks all over it. Oh well will have to chalk it up to wear and tear
all the best, Will
