Beautiful work here as well.

If it's an early war version, may I suggest renaming her Terutzuki, which accompanied Kirishima at the 2nd Naval Battle of Guadalcanal. It would be apt.

What a great idea
The plan is to have kirishima,
Hiei Yamato and the destroyer together
Yamato needs a major refit as it was damaged
In a storm that wrecked my shed
She filled with water and i did not discover
For weeks
Kirishima is 50 percent easily now
Hull for hiei on order and laid up
So I get her when paid off

Will be a nice squadron
And a good way to spend some retirement time

A shame about the Yamato, but yes, a great squadron.

Of course, you'll be wanting Takao or Atago at some point....................

Well, a lesson, you must do sea trials. After a lees than good day where the superstructure just did not sit correctly, I have re done
it all
Re work on the mast, but , finally, the gun turretts near completion

All effort has been on Kirishima, but Covid lock down has halted her, I need some materials just cant get online
So the destroyer has been tackled again

All 4 turrets now RC 180 degrees, and I have started the detailing, from front to back
Still pretty rough, but getting there

Great job so far. Guess it's pretty common, there's always some pieces you love to build and others you loathe. On warships I guess it's generally the weapons that attract most of the attention and interest in building.

Love the results of your guns (and the shape of the originals as well of course  ) :woo_hoo: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Beautiful job, keep going! I love the class but have always been intimidated by the complex shape of the turrets.
