Hello,

five year ago I begun to build the "HMS Furious" in 1:200.
I've the plan of the "HMS Furious" as a large light cruiser with a fly-off-deck Forward and
two original planes from the "Royal Maritim Library". These are the "Rigging Plan" and a plan of the flight-deck. I 've a lot of Pictures of the ship and the planes too.

First, I've built the hull with Wood and fibre-glass:

The superstructure is from Polystyrol and self-made resin parts:

The planes:
I bought a paper-model of the sopwith-pub in scale 1:24 and I reduced the print to the scale 1:200. After that I made one model and the reproduction with a form and resin:

After this the shipbuilding had a rest for four years!. One reason was that I was sure that the flight-deck of the "HMS Furious" was a wooden-deck but I had no proof. After visiting the "Imperial War Museum" in London and the web-site, I found the proof in Pictures and literature about the first aircraft-carrier. So I begun to built the deck with wooden-stripes of 0,8 mm thickness and 40 mm length:

I had no plans for the 14cm L/50 Guns. So I built the model from Pictures:

Great result so far! Looks very neat. I guess you're not going for RC?
