It would be MUCH better if you posted the photos on the Ship Model Forum web site. Sometimes the links don't work, and eventually they will disappear from whatever site you use.

Definately an interest and I don't mind clicking your links. Somehow using my phone to visit the board creates a hurdle to post comments...

12000 views indicate I'm not alone in following your build. That number of views is difficult to reach on a non-fb/youtube etc board like this nowadays.
You're doing a great job on the ship, what a behemoth she is! Always great to see non- standard ships.

May I suggest that you enclose the links to your photos in Img HTML code? It is one of the small buttons on the message edit screen. It will create the necessary code, no need to type anything, just insert the link to your photo at imgbb.

That way, they will show in your post instead of the clickable links, which will make following your build a lot smoother for readers, without taxing your bandwidth or anything.

I mean, like this:

I have to agree with Phil that there are advantages for the viewer of posting on the forum for the viewer, now and later. Unfortunately the site only allows small mixed images, though they are good enough for the purpose intended. The main thing is to be able to resize the images to a small size. A JPEG of around 1000 pixels long dimension will post with slight compression and if larger, with more compression selected. Once you have you image resized, it's pretty easy, just go to choose file, then add and finally post inline at a selected spot. The hard part is reducing the image size, I use Photoshop, which most will not have, but certainly there are many others that can point you to a simple software program for re sizing.

Best wishes and thank you for sharing!

Tom

You can resize and crop images in Microsoft Paint (mspaint.exe) that comes with all versions of Windows. It is located in C:\Windows\System32\mspaint.exe. I dragged it to the desktop so it is readily available.

I also have Photoshop, but Paint is faster and easier for simple jobs.

Hi Chris,

since your pics are already properly sized, I suggest you try the following:
When you post the linkpic, I assume you'll see
[/url]at the end and [url] in the beginning of your link when you copy it in the reply/post screen here.

When you insert that here, exchange the [/url] by [/img] and the [url] by [img], that should show your pics directly here.

Hi Chris,

I don’t have any issue clicking on a link or visiting the IMGBB site to see your build pictures.

Not all are computer savvy and what is quick and easy to some can be confusion to others. I’ve just created a shortcut to the IMGBB website and can see all your 952 photos of your build.

Nice build anyway please keep posting.

URLs don't require or automatically include the [url] tags, so if Boatman is so included, he can simply type [img]and[/img] in front and behind his URLs.
