Song:

Fast and accurate work! Interesting that the ship is sitting on a plastic model kit box of the Stuart Tank!

Down the line will be the construction of the plethora of 40 mm Quads and 20 mm AA! For my APA I only had to make four twin 40's and one quad! More exciting will be the 15 or so 36' LCVP boats. However watching you ability to produce beautiful multiples, I am inspired to make a go of it! I did make two good 26' Motor whaleboats for my Alaska, but that's only two.

Always good to watch your craft and see the ways you solve the innumerable issues along the way.

Cheers! Tom

Song,

Your earlier builds used a solid wood hull (or bread and butter), and now you have done some that are plank on frame. All were excellent builds!

Could you give us your opinion on the pros and cons of each method? Which do you really prefer?

Phil

Hi, Phil,
I really prefer planking method.
1.No need big size wood.
2.Free from bend,twist....
3.Require small tools.
4.Light weight.
it's so many merits.
Song.

Song:

Just because having it around and not large pieces of wood, I used rigid blue building foam between the hull stringers. Light, inexpensive and eventually the shell makes everything completely rigid.

Coming along nicely!!

Tom

Nice work, Song!

Funnily enough, I've always found the skeg/screw shaft arrangement on the SoDaks quite interesting. I'm also happy to see a return of the larger images.

Looking forward to more! :thumbs_up_1: :cool_1:
