Benedetto did a super job scratch building a 1/400 scale model of Sperrbrecher 13 ,it inspired me to do it in 1/96 scale .These were minefield breakers or pathfinders .They were also called minefield hunters because they went out and exploded mines instead of clearing them .
I am haveing trouble downloading photos so my friend Nelson will do it for me .I will be back after Nelson post one sheet of plans that Benedetto sent me . :wave_1:

Dear Folks,

Below is the drawing Richard asked me to post, showing the profile and superstructure parts:

Image

I laid the drawing out and secured it with utensils and the camera. I then took this picture with the camera before the corner could roll up.

How can you take a picture with a camera if the camera is actually in the picture??? You're faster than the light, awesome  :cool_1:

Looking forward to see this one in large scale Richard!!! Will you do that cool camo scheme as well?

Hi Neptune :wave_1:
Yes I am going to do the camouflage just like Benedetto .I joined a club that has a three day fleet run every Oct but it is for 1/96 or 1/100 only . I am working on a 1/72 scale ship but I need a 1/96 scale ship to run with the club .There is a Bismarck RC model so I will have to lead the way for it .On 28 Sept 1940 Sperrbrecher 13 escorted Bismarck up to Rugen island .
I just hope I can do the camo as well as Benedetto did
:yeah:

Yes I see a headache looming ahead :heh:
That will look awesome for sure! Now time to get started. You seem to have a lot of BIG ships going at one time or am I mistaken?
