I build all parts with with copper wire, brass wire, aluminum foil and polystyrol parts from Evergreen (Various plastic plates of various starch)
Photoetchedparts from Lion Roar and Flyhawk (very good quality and low price)
when you see the pictures they wonder why I do not use kits from Skywave;Fujimi etc...?
My answer is higher Qulality, detailed illustration according to plan.
I started over 25 years ago with 1 / 700 original kits.Later, I optimized the kits everymore.Eventually, I realized that I did not need any more kits - but it is a continual learning process.I am always to imbrove my next works, thats my motivation.
I build only japanese ships from 1900 - 1945.These ships are very different to other navys. It is more difficult to build a Japanese ship, especially as the Takao Class.Look at the bridge, nothing is straight. This is just one example of many different details of japanese ships.
Here a lot photos - Takao meets Emily - it's fictitious
