Well, well, well (three holes in the ground)
Done a wee bit this weekend... Using a new glue to glue on the aluminium, takes a lot longer, but once set, the items glued do not come apart!!!!
This pic shows the first section of deck done all the way to the bow and around the later wheelhouse. Must say, it is one very fiddly job.

There is still an amount to do on the bow of the early version, but getting there. Have made the forward removable decks for both and they are fitted, will be able to start plating soon. Will need to drink some more "Mother" so I can get some raw materials
As can be seen in the pics and as was stated earlier, I am now using a new glue put out by Aquadhere, it is polyurethane based. A word of caution if you are going to use this stuff, practice a few times on scraps, this stuff is not set and forget, you will need to weight it down and clean up a few time with metho to keep everything clean, but don't get me wrong, the results are worth it.
