TRIVIA---Peter Lorre co-starred in two submarine sci fi movies. In 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA, Lorre played Conseil, Professor Pierre Arronax's assistant, who are rescued and become prisoners of Captain Nemo aboard his submarine Nautilus.
In the original VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA, Lorre played Commodore Lucius Emery, physicist on the submarine USOS Seaview, who assists the Seaview's designer, Admiral Harriman Nelson, in trying to save the Earth from a blazing Van Allen radiation belt.
