I just saw an ad on the History Channel stating that Dogfights new season starts tomorrow night, 9 p.m. EST. The first episode is on the Kamikaze. From the bits of video and audio in the commercial, it looks like part of the focus will be on the USS Laffey (DD-724) and her near loss.

Are you talking about an almost 100% computer generated images show, each one dealing with a particular fighter / battle ??? I love that series.... :thumbs_up_1:

:cool_2: .

Yes, that's the one. Very good show. I have a few issues when they do show the ship segments (no crewmen on deck, makes it seem too sterile), but I have yet to see an episode I didn't really get into.

Well, did you guys catch it? It was freaking awesome in my opinion!!!!! I really liked the German aspect of it too. I love that they are able to still interview the people who were there. Despite inaccuracies, it is an amazing series...
