If you can get ahold of the current USNI Naval History magazine, there are six or so pages on a modeler and his fabulous collection of 15th-19th Century ships. They are unbelievable!!

That'd probably be about the only thing of quality left..
Enjoy AD Baker while you can... he was recently removed and will no longer be doing Historic Fleets.

Do NOT write off David yet. He may be approaching his sell-buy date, but is still productive.

Oh, he's still productive, but after I wrote in a letter of correction to them about an article he wrote about Nevada they apparently terminated his contract. If he has/is going to be reinstated I'm happy.... I was a little peeved at them for using me as an excuse to fire him. They forwarded on an edited version of my letter which sounded much harsher than my original.

He and I traded a bunch of e-mails over it and are on good terms.
