I bought this kit with every intention of building it (like the other 1,000 kits I have stashed in my basement). It's a nice kit. Devin Poore, who knows way more about Yorky than I ever will, was pretty impressed with it in the box. When a photo-etch set comes out for it, it can probably be built into a real show stopper.

However, after spending over a year (and counting) on the Merit 1/350 Enterprise, I've quickly come to realize that:

a) I'm most likely never going to build this kit
b) If I do, where the f**k am I going to put it?!?

Anyway...the kit lists for $479.99. The cheapest I've seen it online in the US is $329, from one of our sponsors. I'm selling it for $295.00. That price includes the shipping*

The model has been opened and checked out (Devin will have a review online one of these years). Otherwise, it is un-started and complete.

If interested, PM me or email me at martinjquinn at aol dot com. Serious buyers only, please.

*Continental US Buyers only. However, if anyone in the NY Metro area is interested in buying her, I'll reduce the price if we meet and avoid the shipping hassles.

Honestly Martin, I've been seriously torn between saving up for a nice graphics card for my new PC ($500+), and getting your Yorktown.

It's a seriously huge kit of one of my favorite ships, and you've got a very nice deal going...

That is very true.

In any case, it will have to wait for November, to ensure I have the spare funds. If you get a buyer before then, by all means don't wait up for me. :wave_1:
