O.K. Everyone.
Now 2:40 AM Monday...
Mr. Park and I even have not had Pascha easter egg...

Trumpeter has made us take too much time than we had planned...
Now 90% of all design was finalized..

I've just tested Mast 1.Following photo is just for fitting of Main mast PE parts. Fortunately almost are succesful.
There are some more additional PE parts for this mast.
Image

Mr. Park has prepared many photos for you.
Tomorrow bunch of photos will be appeared.

Thank you
Kim

oh, now thats sexy.
Now I know you're just about done with your PE, but I gotta ask. Do you have any plans to have a large section of PE for the welded square panels of diamond/rivit plate for around the hangers and funnel? Trumpeter left this whole section blank sadly, and its in desprate need of some PE. It's a little hard to see the plates in some period photos, but I do have some clearer shots if you need to see what I'm talking about
LionRoar did a great job representing this in their 1/350 kit.

Hello Mr. Park,
these photos give a good taste of your oncoming great Detail Set! I am happy because I decided to buy your Detail Kit - even if I will have to wait further weeks! It takes more time to design parts which will remedy many faults of Trumpeters Bismarck thus making it possible that we can build a well detailed scale Bismarck. Your Drilling Guides are great,
will you also offer PE Drilling Guides for the steps/ladders on the Hull (bow and stern)?
It would be very nice if you will offer highly detailed Otter-Geräte. The portholes, will they be designed with gutters and will they and the ventilation openings be produced with their armoured covers? I am very curious how you will reproduce the windowframes with the flywheels (see page 102, J.Kaiser book of the Bismarck) of the bridge.

I wish you all the best for your great stunning work
Best Regards
Chris2

Hi, Chris

Don't worry about Drilling guides for on the Hull.

Portholes are designed like as next pic.

And, I will designe bridge windowframes with Clear View Screen(Flywheel?).

Thank you

Even ship itself is not in my area of interesting, a really impressing set will come here. :thumbs_up_1:

Only one point, which I don't understand: The machine gun of the Arado in the back is a flat PE part, why not making a brass barrel and maybe some improving PE parts for the plastic part of the kit itself? I mean, this here is 1/200 scale and a brass barrel will be no real problem in my opinion with look of what small guns in smaller scales could be replaced with brass barrels sets from aftermarket.

Same issue I don't understand for example for these 20mm Oerlikon AA guns in 1/350 scale when PE sets want to replace them with flat parts only... :wave_1:

P.S.
1 off topic, but general question maybe allowed about Pontos Sets here: I bought second Pontos set (for Zvezda's Dreadnought) and again I find some brass wires inside this set, packed together with the wooden deck. To be honest, I have no idea for what this small wires should be... can you please explain? Thank you in advance. :-)

It's 0.1mm brass wire. You can use it for rigging material. For example, you can rig the torpedo net of Dreadnaught using brass wire. That's what I heard from Pontos guys.

Hello Mr.Park,
yes that's what I meant with the Flywheels.
Thank you for your response. Though you have not mentioned it I think after having analysed your lastly posted pictures that you will also offer detailed Otter-Geräte (see pages 058, 059,075 in the J.Kaiser book) made of turned metal and PE.

As your Work is so great , waiting for your Detail Sets is a big torture for me which I have to suffer. But Iam sure, some day in the future I will be freed and reliefed when I can start building the Bismarck with your Sets.

Best regards
Chris2

Thank you KJ.
Yep it is wire for Boom or other rigging with hardness wire.
it is 0.2mm diameter not 0.1mm.
Thank you
Kim

If this MG-15 has circular barrels as main guns, we would relaize this with turned brass but this gun has some odd shape with fore sight and others not circular shape. so it is worthless to be realized with Turned brass.

Thank you
Kim

Beautiful work and fantastic photography as well. This puts me in a Kriesgmarine state of mind so if you don't mind, can you tell me whether a detail up set is planned for Dragon's Scharnhorst kit?
