Any idea when the 1/350 Bismarck/Tirpitz will be out?

Surely We would release 1/350 Bis/Tir and QE Class for Trumpeter kits.
But now we should finalize 1/200 Bis first...

And I have a question to you.
In April 1941 two 20mm Flak guns were installed on front of the third radar.
And Many plans and Trumpeter kit show these as 20mm Flak38.

I have only one photo showing this Flak..
Image

But watching from this photo, I think this is Flak 30 not Flak 38.
What do you think about this?

Thank you
Kim

Hi Kim,
you are right!
It was 20mm Flak 30.

A question to the 20mm Heeresflak:
You will also make two "Sonderanhänger 51" (special trailers) for your set?
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3131/3420 ... f8d9_o.jpg

On this picture, you can see the Sonderanhänger behind the "Verkehrsboot" on the right side.
The wheels are under a dark grey persening.

Bismarck ever had a Sonderanhänger 51 for any 20mm Heeresflak on board

At last! Someone is doing the swastika and circle for the flag pole top. Thank you. The lack of that little detail has bugged me for years and everyone is too P/C to do one (yes, I know it could cut a market or two out). Totally off topic but could you please consider doing a fret of these in 1/35, 1/72 and 1/350? Especially the larger scales for the various subs and s-boats. I can't wait for this set to come out. I hope you include some nice below the waterline goodies too.
Mike

If there is chance to make these detail upset we will add something as this 1/200 Bis.
Thank you..

Thank you Lance for your confirm...
At this time Hanger 51 would be passed to "Advanced set" not this "Basic set".
But wheels may be hard to be realized only with PE so only some parts(as Frame) of disassembled Hanger may be added.

Anyway Trumpeter has given us too many bothering works for this project.
But almost finalized...

Thank you
Kim

Hi Kim,
thank you for this very good information!
I think, that the best way to realize the wheels is with resin.
Best wishes
Christian

Now I know you're just about done with your PE, but I gotta ask. Do you have any plans to have a large section of PE for the welded square panels of diamond/rivit plate for around the hangers and funnel? Trumpeter left this whole section blank sadly, and its in desprate need of some PE. It's a little hard to see the plates in some period photos, but I do have some clearer shots if you need to see what I'm talking about
LionRoar did a great job representing this in their 1/350 kit.

Dana

Well can you let us know some more detailly?
Thank you
Kim

Sorry for not getting right back to you about this. I'll try and get photos of what I'm talking about up tomorrow afternoon.

Dana

I've never seen theirs so I can't tell anything about.
Just doing our ways with our best.
Something missed, please let us know. We would try to add these at Advanced version.

Follwoing is 20mm Flak30. Sorry Barrel is adapted wrongly used on Quad or singles.
And triangle Pedestals will be added with turned brass parts because Trumpeter molded wrong location and size to be applied for this Flak 30

Thank you
Kim

Hi
One Korean Lifetube company has sent something for 1/200 Bismarck to us.
For easier painting you will find white tubes when you open the set.
Image

Ah! similarly 1/350 Lifetubes also come in our other new sets...

Thank you
Kim

I can't wait to see people use this jawdropping set.

I even expect to see tiny RC Arados catapulted and buzzing around a bit.
Okey...my imagination...child from the sixties and such...nevermind :pout:

Anyway...never seen something like this...it's beautiful.
