I'm very excited and will be buying the WW2 Iowa and KGV sets. Hopefully these sets note the differences between each ship. I guess I will also be waiting to build my North Carolina.

One last question. Are there any plans for a Roma or Pola set in 1/350. These are the only two plastic Italian ships available. It would be great to at least bring the Pola up to 2012 standards.

We will try all Class ships can be covered with one set or separate sets.

As for the 350 Roma, we have collaboration with Regia marina.
Hope this project comes to as soon as possible.

Thank you
Kim

Will there be ship-specific resin parts to modify some of the structural differences, such as the different upper superstrucures (New Jersey's being signicifantly different from the other three), and the flared-out platform at Iowa and Wisconsin's bows (as compared with the other two)?

Sure..
We are digging the shape differences.
We would realize these with PE, Resin or both.
Thank you
Kim

Oh, boy, oh, boy, I can't wait!!! I won't have to scratch build so many different things any more! :thumbs_up_1:

Here is New Jersey stern deck sample applied with our 35006wd1 wooden deck.
We will extend the plate deck and tie down holes to whole stern deck with PE plate for each ship.

What about the rumor of Trumpeter releasing new tool Iowa class kits in 1/350 scale?? I'm not interested in the upgraded Tamiya re-pop New Jersey since it will still have the same hull with it's inaccurate bow shape.

In these days, it is no more big news what Trumpeter releases next.
Just Rumor is no important and so it is not late in our business even we start any project after receiving the real kit.

We do this IOWA class project mainly for modelers who just stack NJ kit on their shelves and a few modelers who would buy a new NJ kit newly though this is minor change one. If Trumpeter does, it is also a good news.

At least I am sure you cannot help from getting this set if you are an Iowa Class fan.
Hope you will meet our Iowa sets for Tamiya or Trumpeter as soon as possible.

Thank you
Kim

Wow, guys,

I am really looking forward to seeing and hearing all the things you will include in this upgrade kit. There are so many things I have had to do to convert New Jersey to Iowa, parts from WEM, Veteran, and many, many feet of styrene

I am so glad it's coming out this month. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us! :thumbs_up_1:

Hi there,

I don't want to instigate someone to copy somebody else's work, but when you look on this site under "Reviews-Misc. tools-Decals and paint masks"you find the Modern Iowa class sheet from Dunagain Decals which is long oop, but it contains lots of possibilities for improvement of your decals. Maybe Duane Fowler is willing to sell his artwork?

Keep up your excellent work,
Mike

I don't know and am not sure if Dunagain may be happy if they see our decal artwork.
I've copied this decal design but just from 1:1 scale Iowa class references or photos.
If you wish to see any more information or reference about our design source I will show you personally.

Please refer our decal and stern deck design palnning at following image.

Is the detail set for USS Wisconsin listed on your site for her Desert Storm fit? How soon will this set be released?
