Mr Kim,

I would like to thank you and you staff for an excellent kit! :woo_hoo: I thoroughly enjoy the challenge to work with the kit and achieve a museum authentic model once completed. Your attention to detail and design is commendable. :thumbs_up_1: I post a few photo's to show my progress:

Mr Kim,

I want to get advanced set, as soon as it appears in the luckymodel.com web store. So I decided to write in this thread, although my question is not related to Bismarck.

I sent an email to the address listed on the website, but no response received.

I bought 35012F1 set (1/350 Sevastopol detail up set) from luckymodel. After receiving the parcel and check the contents, i reveal that the one of photo etching plate is missing (which contains anti-torpedo nets and details of the deck). Can you send the missing item to me or i need to contact the seller?

Thanks in advance.
Please excuse my poor English.

Rob,
We realized main rails as solid type. But if you wish to loose wire please just hit the center of upper wire with pencil slightly for loosen effect.

Thank you

Ah yep 1495 and 1496 are for wiring (thinner of 0.3mm or less diameter)
Simple so there is no instruction for stantion location.

Thank you

Hello Mr. Kim,
I just started to work with your big set of add on parts for my big Bismarck....
Now I am wondering about one issue...

Your template of the GHG ("Gruppenhorchgerät") for drilling the holes in the hull is completely different. If I have a look at Bismarck dk (http://www.bismarck-class.dk/technicallayout/ghg/ghg.html then it seems to be 100% different.....

Now I am wondering what might be correct ..... ?

Thank you!
Michael

In no Pontos Bismarck Set anchors included. For the portholes looking on page 4 “Advanced”. They're on the hull on page 5 “Basic”. Cutter for looking at page 1 and 3 “Advanced”. The construction manual you should already read. It's everything you need in it.

A little tip: to optimize your building use google-picture-search for many published original images.

Hi

I'm in the middle of my Bismarck + Pontos (Both sets) build. I'm not a very experienced builder, but it's really nice to work with these kits.

I also would like to thank all the people who upload pictures of their builds. It's a great help to see how you do things.

I have a couple of questions on some parts:

- Basic Set: Parts 81 and 82
Where are they supposed to be? In the manual they are sort of floating over the hangar and funnel. Anyone who has a picture where these parts are added? They seem to be connected to part 80, but I don't understand how...

- Advanced Set: Parts 1020-1028
Are these rails that they used when they moved the planes? I have collected a quite lot of pictures of Bismarck, but none of them has these rails.
Anyone who has a picture that shows how they looked in reality?

Best regards

matts

Matts,
81 and 82 are the inside(underside) of catapult cover.
If you would realize open type catapult cover, you can apply 81/82 only without 80.

1020-1028 are rail parts for the Arado moving to between Catapult-Hanger.
It is very hard to find related photo but Watching in Gally diagrams these rails are depicted. so we realized these rails.

Thank you
Keumho Kim

Hi!
Trying to get a grip of this massive kit

From the pictures I have of Bismarck I haven´t seen the part 925 (railing below the hatches alongside) in any of them.

So my q is, to add or not to add?

Hello @ all, hello Mr. Kim.

I think I need some help as I am wondering a little bit about the following issue...

See picture:
Image

The marked parts - will these remain plastic or is there any PE stuff in the advanced set to replace these? I did not find anything in the instructionrs so far.....

Also the ladders and other doors at these parts... there is nothing in the instructions.....

Thank you very much for your assistance here!!!!

Michael

Refer the following link and see the photo noted as "The Bismarck's camouflage is touched up at Scheerhafen, Kiel in March 1941."

PE doors, windows and some ladders are included optionally.
And I am sorry that we don't noted all of these locations.

Thank you

I just ordered the 27001F1 set from Lucky Model. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting my hands on it....

This thread is going to be a great help to anyone contemplating this kit, so I will keep coming back to it for additional notes not included in the manual.
