Hi Guys and Gals,
Here's the latest from L'Arsenal USA.
First and foremost:
J-U-S-T A-R-R-I-V-E-D today!!! VETERAN MODELS Re-Stock! ! !
After getting my last shipment from Veteran Models only a months ago, (including the newest 350th Modern accessories), and seeing how fast they sold out, we got a larger shipment this time.

Please go to L'Arsenal USA's website: http://www.larsenal-usa.com/store/index.php
To go directly to the Veteran Models section: http://www.larsenal-usa.com/store/index ... 96d36687f0

WHAT DID WE GET THIS TIME ?
All of the 350th USN/NATO Modern warship accessories from VTM35001-VTM35015 and in multiples.
Also, the 350th WWII USN accessories from VTW35001-VTW35004. It's a small range, but these items are extremely popular and sell out very quickly.

HOW ABOUT L'ARSENAL ?
There is a large re-stock of L'Arsenal kits and some of the newest accessories enroute from France as I write this. For the first time in a while, I will have a decent number of the 350th figures in stock. Please act quickly if you want some, as they will sell out rather quickly.

NAVIRES et HISTOIRES Special Series Publication #1 Richelieu
Additionally, the first in a series of what promises to be a successful publication, L'Arsenal USA will be carrying the, "Naval Monographies", special on the French Battleship, Richelieu. I have a limited number of these to begin with, but this is kind of a trial to see how well these sell. So, if I do run out quickly, I can almost guarantee we'll get more. I can not let you guys know just yet what the second ship in the series will be, but I can almost guarantee that it will be a popular one! So, I am taking reservations for the first book on Richelieu and if any of you wish, I'll take your name down for the second special issue. No strings attached at all. If you change your mind, no problem. I'm just taking names in order.

*NOTE:
The magazine, "Navires et Histoire", is written only in French, but the Navale Monographie's will be written in both French and English.

*LASTLY:
Regarding the impending L'Arsenal re-stock, feel free to contact Tony ahead of time to find out what all is coming.

Have a great weekend!
Best wishes from a cloudy and cool SoCal!
Tony Bunch

Hi Guys,
Hi Mike,
All I can say for certain is that they are not ready yet. Jacques took many pre-orders at IPMS ModelWorld, (Telford UK), to get an idea of how many kits he could sell when the time came, and I have a half a dozen of each kit as good as sold here in the US. I would tell you this without fear of contradiction. As soon as Jacques get all of the parts from the RP producers, he'll make the masters and then the molds for ready production. At that point, he'll start running the production of both kits. What's the hold-up? I am not certain whether or not the p/e company is the reason for the hold up or if it's that he does not yet have all the parts from the RP company yet. Maybe if he reads this, he can fill in the blanks. As soon as he gets a production run going, he'll make it known on his website and all of his European customer's can get what they have been waiting for. Shortly after that, I'll post here that they're on the way from France.
I wish I could tell you more, as Jacques and I speak regularly. Of course, we discuss many things whilst we speak, but I promise to get a more clued-in answer next Tueaday. Jacques has confided in me that the parts he's seen so far are absolutely the best he's seen. These promise to be kits that were indeed worth the wait.
Best wishes to you from SoCal, Tony Bunch

Hi Guys,
Mike,
You're quite welcome. After I speak with Jacques very soon, I'll post an update as a continuation of this thread.
Abram,
I have 10 sets of AC350-36. (USN 5"25 open mount), on its' way from France right now. I expect to get this shipmnt before the end of this week, (this week starting with today), and noone has a pre-order for any of these at this moment. Regarding the Veteran Models 5"25's, I only got three sets in the shipment, (I know Melvin is splitting his quantites on hand as fairly as he is able), and they were all sold out within the first hour of my making the announcement. The L'Arsenal and the Veteran Models USN 5"25's are quite comparable in quality and accuracy, so ideally I will always have one or the other on hand; unfortunately at this moment neither is the case. :sorry:
As I mentioned previously, Jacques is a one-man operation and he's as busy as ever. That's why I plan our phone conversations for an hour of his choosing.
Regarding the subjects of both cruisers Jamaica and Sheffield, I just watched an episode of the cable TV, "The Military Channel", series called, "Secrets of World War II", and this particular episode was entitled, "The end of Scharnhorst". As with most shows like this, it is disappointing to see time and again the misuse of quite familiar, "file footage", and uninspired CAD images of the different subjects, (in this case being quite popular among modeler's), being discussed. Nonetheless, seeing TV shows of this type remind us of the importance of history and to weirdo's like me the fascination of the German navy in WWII and the Scharnhorst himself, (did'nt they call Scharnhorst a, "him", too?), and the Royal Navy's repeated attempts to put this menacing giant to rest!
We'll get these cruisers to you guys just as soon as we can!
Have a great Sunday from a cool and overcast Southern California.
