1/350 USS Supercarrier CV-63 Kitty Hawk for Trumpeter Detail-up Set Cooming.
This product is included in the past most of CNC machining products.
(Which was reproduced all radars and sensors.)
It also includes a number of prepainted photo etched parts.
(Including the deck crew)
Some secret item that is associated with it.
More photos will be published from January 4.
You can find a lot of interesting parts if you look at the photos to be published in the future.

This is wonderful.

If I wanted to back date her to somewhere in 76-80 timeframe would there be a decent amount of items I would have to not use from this set?

I'm back dating Connie CVA-64 in 71-73. A lot of that stuff I can't use.

That is an impressive looking photo-etch set.

Deck crews are reproduced in color photo etched parts.
We have to reproduce the situation in which Rim-7, Rim-116 armed mounted.
Rudder was reproduced in the correct shape in 3D design. (Resin Parts)

VERY NICE! You guys have caught some details that are almost always overlooked! The "risers" that keep the arresting wires off the deck :thumbs_up_1: the reloading mechanism for the sea-sparrow launcher :thumbs_up_1: , the MLARS (landing array) :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :woo_hoo:

Thanks you.
I was trying not to miss a detail as possible.
You will look at the upcoming picture to see the details better.

JBD has reproduced much like the real thing.
I was trying to reproduce the volume and detail of the JBD.
Details of the catapult was also the same as the real thing as possible.

You got the ordinance dump ramps as well, another great catch! :thumbs_up_1:

Do you plan to include life raft canister racks?

And what about perforated catwalks? It seems you could go either way on the catwalks, the perforations are small enough and spread far enough apart that they will look realistic in their plastic state but still more accurate in the perforated form.

Thank you.
Nimitz class is expected to consider, depending on the success of this kit Hawk.

We included life raft canister rack.
Unfortunately, the hole in the catwalk is not represented.

Really like those E-2 props. Hoping this will continue to other aircraft carrier sets. :-)

This just keeps getting more and more impressive! The spinners on the front of the EA-6 electronics pods?! Wow, what a great detail! And yeah, those props on the E-2 look great!

Great job KA Models! :thumbs_up_1:

Hopefully we can see a release date soon. No hurry really because this is too exciting. I am sure just based on preliminary pictures this set should do well. You say that depending on the success of the Kitty Hawk set you would consider a Nimitz set. Seems you've missed the boat on that one. I mean, that ship has been out for a long time and the need for a more modern update set has been there. Most of us have already built one or two Nimitz class using our own mechanisms for updated ships. I'd rather you pass on Nimitz and concentrate on CV-67 USS John F. Kennedy. My .02.
