4th March 2017 is the 60th anniversary of US Navy airship "Snowbird"'s World Record breaking endurance flight - 11 days and 14 minutes travelling the North Atlantic without refueling or touching down. My model of the ZPG-2 type of Class-N blimp is now in my CLASSIC AIRSHIPS Shapeways Shop. In fact the kit of parts provides for building either the anti-submarine or AEW version of the aircraft and she can be depicted in flight or with undercarriage down and moored to the mobile mooring mast and tractor, also in the kit. 1/700th and 1/600th scale versions are already available; I hope to have a 1/1250th model in the shop soon.

Here is the kit... (note that the US Navy markings and national insignia below the nose are engraved into the model.)

The 1/1250th and 1/1200th versions are now in my CLASSIC AIRSHIPS Shapeways Shop
Not quite so much detail but you can still build in flight or landed versions of a ZPG-2W...
