Just released are two new decal sheets of naval flags and ensigns in 1/700. These cover the 1914-45 period on one sheet and modern flags on the other. Both are priced at £4 each and available from http://www.starling-models.co.uk

They look nice!

we had an amusing time identifying the Indian and the Netherlands modern naval flags...

Google is educational!

Hmm... a slight nit... when used as a naval ensign, both the Swedish and Norwegian colours should properly be of the three-tongued swallow-tailed variety, not a square regular flag as used by civilian vessels. It's fixable with a sharp knife of course.

(For completeness, the Danish naval ensign is similar but a conventional two-tailed swallowtail, without the middle tail.)

Danish civil is one I'd like to see.

I have one of Harry's BFM steamers about 1/2 done which I'd like to finish in Maersk colors, including neutrality markings on the hull. Seven pointed Maersk stars were easy to find. Danish flags do not seem to be available in +/- 1/700.

Not too tough to paint however if it comes to that.
