New products for February 2018.
1 :700 Navy

The Le Redoutable-class submarine was a ballistic missile submarine class of the French Marine Nationale. In French, the type is called Sous-marin Nucléaire Lanceur d'Engins (SNLE), literally "Missile-launching nuclear submarine". When commissioned, they constituted the strategic part of the naval component of the French nuclear triad, then called Force de frappe (the aircraft carriers Clemenceau and Foch constituting the tactical part).

Later this year this kit will come in both 1:400 and 1:350 scale.

Contains resin parts, photoetch and instructions..

Still at the production stage, I've been told three weeks ago. L'Arsenal 2.0 is working harder on this as they've a lot of other projects waiting in the queue.
I've the planned monthly "Brain Storm Day" with them next Monday... maybe some news then.

So may be you'll have some news for the "Dunkerque/Strasbourg" set?

Hello and sorry for the late reply,

Just got these new info from Mélaine, the owner of l'Arsenal 2.0:

The Richelieu set project is still on its way, but experiencing unanticipated delays.
This is being designed by three separate collaborators, each of them having to cope with adjustments for the parts to fit the Trumpeter kit which is notoriously wrong almost everywhere. Resin and PE parts have to be checked against the kit and sent back to the design stage for modifications. Work is progressing well however.

In the meantime l'Arsenal 2.0 launched a big set for the HobbyBoss Dunkerque, which will be a big one too (one full A4 PE sheet to date, maybe more and resin parts, including a brand new ship-boat complement). As the destination kit is far better and accurate than the Richelieu this detail set is progressing faster and will probably be issued just before Richelieu, first as a collection of separate detail sets: ship-boats, armament, etc... then as a full integrated set.

The Richelieu set should at last be issued just after the Dunkerque when all issues have been cleared.

Good news about Dunkerque! I have this kit too. But Richelieu set is very helpful for my next project (after Combrigs Montcalm) . Maybe Mélaine have plans for release separate detail sets for Richelieu (I need resin directors, ship-boats, rangefinders, AA guns and all that will can ready in nearly time). Richelieu funs cant waite 1 or 2 years yet  )
