German Navy airship L59, the "Africa" Ship commissioned to get desperately needed supplies to troops fighting in east Africa in 1917, is now in my shop in 1/700 and 1/600 scales.

A "Class 53", the Zeppelin type from which the L59 was derived will be in the shop shortly. I am also working on 1/1250th scale versions.

Happy Modeling!

Hi Derek,
I like to share a little experience I had when cleaning my L35 hull in warm and soapy water as you recommend in you instructions. After the hull fulled up with water she became almost neutrally buoyant and seemed to acquire a mind of its own. It actually took a little effort to get it back to the brush I was using. As my hands can be seen as the scale equivalent of a large rocket engine I truly admire the crews who had nothing more than a scale gnats' power to move these things around.
