Excellent.

If I like what I see when these turn up, I will order all the rest from you. I only wish I had known that three or four weeks ago! :thumbs_up_1:

Still nothing, but suddenly the track & trace started working and apparently it is now in the Netherlands... Seems it is indeed faster to wait for shops to start selling the sets and then order from them because this is pretty awful.

After reading EJ's post, I checked my order again today.

I was told it had been shipped on Nov 7... when I checked the tracking I got this...

They actually sent it a month after I was told it had been dispatched... and its still in the Ukraine.

In the future I will order from Mike. Direct from North Star isn't very impressive at all...

Still nothing... and the tracking is useless.

You get yours yet EJ?

Still nothing... and I was advised the order had been sent on Nov 7 and there doesn't seem to be any way to contact them... Tracking information hasn't changed for a week or two... still in the Ukraine at the shippers.

I replied to the email address I had my order advice on and tracking note. No reply to that and their Contact details page on their website was simply a blank page.. or it wouldn't load.

These figures are pretty expensive. I have to say, I would have expected MUCH better service than this.

This will be the very last time I order anything direct from North Star.

Sorry to hear that; may still show up though, but I think I'll also go through a reseller next time!

Thanks EJ... yes, they may still turn up and its simply down to inefficiency in their chosen delivery service... but I will certainly go through another supplier in the future.

Suppliers: Do any of you have a direct email address for North Star that gets replies that you could either send me or ask on my behalf? Thanks.

Never had an problem having them delivered, Have order from them 5 times. Now does it take time - yes.

But they always show up. I don't remember where they post from, its either the Ukraine, Russia or one of the Baltic countries. But they have always shown up.

I’m sure they will, eventually. The point is, I buy things when I need them.

If I can’t rely on a supplier to supply something when I need it, I would be daft not to change that supplier.

The products are probably very good... so I will just find someone who stocks them and buy from them in the future.

Agree Bill, but they hostage to where they are located. I think you will enjoy the parts when you get them. Merry Christmas to you

The stockists most likely have the same problem. I have ordered several times stuff from NorthStar and the parcel has always arrived in good condition. Delivery times have varied from 2 weeks to 2,5 months. The latest one took a month before the Ukrainian Mail got it out of the country after it was registered. Northstar has never failed to answer e-mails and they have done their best to get things moving in the mail.

Regards,

Jari
