Second detail set in the new range designed for the 1/350 Fletchers, kit CK 350 002 is for the Trumpeter model USS The Sullivans and depicts a square bridge destroyer of the class in her ten 40mm Bofors configuration.
One important new part is the Tear Drop Shape Rear Shelter structure that houses one twin 40mm and either a Mk.49 or Mk.51 gun director depending on the ship or year of service.
An excellent reference book is the Warship Pictorial N°45 written by Rick E.Davis, a regular visitor of the Forum.
