The 1/700 HMS Coventry kit from Atlantic Models is now available. This is an upgraded re-release of the former White Ensign Models kit, now with 3d printed weapons from 3d Modelparts. Price is £42 from http://www.starling-models.co.uk

I am building this one at the moment and must say that the quality is excellent. The kit has an old review out in its original White Ensign guise which gave it some flak for imprecise moulding but I can say that the mouldings are impeccable in the Atlantic Models version - a tad fragile here and there but that is largely down to my own ham-fistedness. Recommended.

Thanks for the kind words, I received the castings for Curacao a few days ago so will start work on the etch when I can get back to work.

Hi Mike

That's great news about that model - and I see that you are back to work next Friday

can I ask , do you have any sets of the 1/350 NorthStar Royal
Navy Bridge Equipment
for sale , please ?

I badly need 2 sets for my forthcoming HMS HOOD 1/350 Build and for another Ship ( along with at least one other guy from this Forum )

kind regards
David Walker

I have the model, and agree it's a tremendous looking kit in the box. Hope I live long enough to build it.
