Peter Hall has been hard at work on a set of girder structures for the new Trumpeter Langley kit. The design is at the etchers as I type. We think this will be an excellent upgrade to the plastic parts that come with the kit and in fact, correct some errors Trumpeter has made in the shape of the girders. I'll put this up for pre-order on the WEM website in the next day or so. A second set of general details for the kit is to follow soon.

Also Peter and I have worked out the schedule for this year and I might as well share it. The Langley sets are obviously first up this year. Next will be a set for Trumpeter's USS Ranger kit which has been neglected and deserves a good Peter Hall set! After that will come the Kent and lastly but certainly not least, a set for the York. These and his Atlantic Models projects should keep "Mad Pete" busy for a bit!

That’s great news. I am very happy to hear about the Ranger as well, hopefully some parts for a 1942 will be included.

Eagerly await their release
Matt

Let's see if I can post images of 2 of the Langley frets (prior to the addition of relief etching) for Richard. I used to use Photobucket, but they now require disabling of my ad-blocker and I'm not going to do that (if this doesn't work, I'm open to suggestions for alternatives to Photobucket that will work here).

That worked. Great looking PE set.

In the future, you can just upload them right to the site, using this feature:

That way they aren't beholden to any 3rd party hosting site.
