Two new versions of the Cannon/Edsall DEs are about to be released very soon from Black Cat Models:

USS Slater was one of the Cannon class DEs fitted with three 40mm twin Bofors in the last stages of WWII.

Twelve Edsall DEs were transfered from the U.S.Navy to the U.S.Coast Guard in the early fifties and were converted for ocean station search and rescue duty.
